CEHI Publishes on Two New Small Area Estimation Tools

Two hex stickers for the RST tools. One purple with a balancing beam for the RSTbx and one red for with a rooster for the RSTr

The Children’s Environmental Health Initiative and colleagues from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention recently published a paper in JMIR Public Health Surveillance about two tools that make it easier for public health practitioners to generate robust small area estimates: the RSTbx (for ArcGIS Pro users) and the RSTr (for R users). These tools were designed to meet the demand for high-quality population health data at the local level to inform public health programs and tailor health promotion activities to the needs of communities across the country.
